Photo, video, voice memo, or written note. Every capture is fingerprinted the instant it is saved. There is no window between creation and sealing where the file could be altered and still pass verification.
The timestamp, GPS coordinates, device ID, and SHA-256 hash are locked in atomically. Not after a sync, not after an upload. At the moment of capture.
The Bitcoin blockchain
is your notary.
Only the 64-character SHA-256 hash of your file leaves your device automatically. It is submitted to OpenTimestamps, which aggregates thousands of hashes into a Merkle tree and commits the root to Bitcoin. Your file is never on the blockchain. The proof that it existed at a specific time is.
When a Bitcoin block confirms, the timestamp is permanent. No court order, no corporate decision, no server shutdown can alter it.

CaseGuardian can parse your captures into structured summaries: what happened, who was present, what was said, what was observed. This is off by default on every item. You turn it on per capture, per document.
Before anything leaves your device, an output-side redaction pass strips your name, phone number, email, address, payment details, and the names of people in your life from the parsed output. The original file remains untouched in your encrypted vault.

When you are ready to share, generate a sealed Attorney Package. CaseGuardian emails your attorney a notice of what the package contains and texts them a one-time access code. Neither one can open the evidence. You then send the link itself from your own phone, pre-addressed with nothing to retype, because it carries the decryption key that exists only on your device. The link can be set to auto-expire and revoked instantly from your vault.
Every item in the package displays its Bitcoin block height, SHA-256 hash, GPS coordinates, device ID, and Ed25519 device signature. Chain-of-custody PDF included.
We cannot see
what you captured.
Your evidence is AES-256 encrypted on your device. The encryption key never leaves your device. CaseGuardian's servers hold encrypted ciphertext. Even the company cannot read your evidence. We see only counts and technical metadata, never content, photos, recordings, or keys.

Export your sealed record to storage you control. Connect your own Dropbox or Google Drive account, or save straight to iCloud Drive from your iPhone through the Files app. Every export lands in your personal storage, and every export is recorded in your chain-of-custody log.
